Free & Discounted Maps
Our free and discounted maps can be downloaded and used commercially with a nonrestrictive Creative Commons License (CC-BY 4.0). If you are planning to use these maps in any kind of product you will have to add an attribution which states where they come from. An example could look like this:

Note, Standard and Extended licenses permit you to use the purchased maps in one project only. For use in multiple projects, additional licenses may be required.
Mandatory Attribution
Our maps are produced work that exclusively uses open data sources. Some of these sources require attribution when distributing our maps, whether they’re free or premium versions. Please see below for detailed guidelines and examples of proper attribution requirements.
OpenStreetMap
OpenStreetMap is open data, licensed under the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL) by the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF). It is required to use the following copyright notice:

and a link to https://openstreetmap.org/copyright, which has detailed information about OpenStreetMap’s data sources as well as the ODbL. Furthermore, there are different requirements on how to properly credit the dataset depending on an use case. For more details, please refer to Attribution Guidelines.
Microsoft ML Buildings
This dataset represents building footprints derived from satellite imagery. The data is made available and licensed by Microsoft under the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL).
